Imagine
User-Preferences for an augumented-reality(AR) client
Problem
To design preferences for a message tagging mechanism on a visor client in an 'augmented reality' medium.
Concept
Realizing that a visor exists in a 3-D space and in an information network, we challenged the conventional menu system and system modes to organize user preferences. We used the strength of the medium to come up with a concept for personalization which makes the preferences smart and invisible.
Process
Worked in a multi-disciplinary team of four to storyboard various scenarios of use (walker, rider, traveller). To understand the new medium, we used low-fidelity prototypes. To understand how users respond to information overload on-the-go, we used a flash prototype.
